AEC.coop

Alfalfa Electric Cooperative WebsiteAlfalfa Electric Cooperative needed an update to their existing site to make it more user-friendly for members and their webmaster. While most of the content remained the same, design changes were made including the addition of colorful buttons on the front page to aid in usability, the addition of the Coop's Facebook newsfeed, and new pages to show their dedication to community involvement, including a community calendar and photo album.  A team of Coop employees received training and are able to update the website themselves.

CowleyCountyFair.com

Cowley County Fair WebsiteThe Cowley County Fair Board wanted to create a way for vendors, participants, and campers to complete registration online.  They also wanted a fun & colorful update to their old site.  This website features several registration forms as well as a shopping cart where users can pay associated fees.  Several e-mail accounts were created using the cowleycountyfair.com domain name to allow committee chairs to communicate with registrants and other chairs.  The design for the website includes large, colorful photographs of attractions such as the carnival, demolition derby, and rodeo.  A committee of Fair Board members received training and are able to update the website themselves.

KansasPowerPool.org

Kansas Power Pool Website With more and more people using smartphones to access the internet, the Kansas Power Pool (KPP) needed their website updated to look as good on smartphones and tablets as it does on a desktop computer.  A responsive template was chosen so that the site will automatically resize its contents to fit the screen on which it is being viewed.  This site also features an interactive map of the member cities and online registration forms for KPP hosted events.  KPP's website takes advantage of access permission levels for registered users to create a personalized experience for each member city.

FieldtoFabric.com

Field to Fabric WebsiteField to Fabric is a small, local quilt shop that sells quilting supplies and classes.  They needed a way to keep their customers informed of new and upcoming classes, so to get the word out about classes we created an events calendar that can be color coded to show classes, events, sales, and special announcements.  We also set them up with Email Marketing from White Horse Domains to help manage their newsletter and allow customers to sign-up to receive their emails from their website.  The newsletter is also posted to the site every month to make it easy for customers to find.

Because quilting is such a colorful and detailed art we used one of Field to Fabric's quilts as the background to show off actual stitching done by the shop owners.  We also included a photo album on the website to showcase new fabrics that can be purchased for projects.

The owners of Field to Fabric were trained on how to manage their website and Email Marketing from White Horse Domains and are able to update both on their own.
